New member with here with probable an RUGER 10/22 Stocks.Anyone here using the A.R.M.S. S.I.R. system? I just got my new Colt M4 and I'm looking for a good quadrail will lots of options. I really like theARMS scope rings Bi-Level but don't know anyone that has experiance with them. They do seem a little spendy, (but what isn't anymore) , and you always get what ya pay for. Also are there any dealers on this board that sells the A.R.M.S. S.I.R. systems? Situation: Need to be able to mount an Aimpoint Comp M2 (M68) on unknown issued AR-type rifle (either AR-15 or M4, carry handle for flat top). How does this sound: Aimpoint forward mount (gooseneck) Rationale: The Larue mount and ARMS #40 should work nicely for the RUGER 10/22 Stocks. The Aimpoint gooseneck obscure less of the iron sights than similar goosenecks and is sturdy. The modest price is a bonus. Question: Will the Larue mount work okay with the goosneck, or should I get another mount to interface between it and the Aimpoint? THANKS FOR THE HELP!

I think they should be left "MP-5 MOUNT " most of the time, but then you have the option of flipping it down and out of the way if you have a need or want to do so. The non-folding sight does have a lot of merit in that regard. This little project is for a young man getting ready to go to Iraq, which of course rules me out on both the young and the going to Iraq part.
